I really can’t understand people saying the film ISN’T the cause of the shooting. Anyone who has seen and truly understood TDK knows that Nolan makes a plausible case for the Joker - its what makes his character so great. Sure, justice prevails, but the movie wouldn’t have the ‘moral ambiguity’ if the Joker didn’t have a logic reasonable on some scale...
